Annual McCall trip

Warning: A lot of pictures!

McCall was so great! How could it not be? Only thing to make it better would have been TyRell there with us. Nonetheless, we had a great time!

After doing some skiing on the boat, Bristol sat on my wet lap. This made her have to "go" if ya know what I mean. So we had to strip her naked! She made the walk up to the cabin very entertaining, stopping to pick flowers on the way.

My little Diva!

Roasting smores. An Erekson family favorite...
Both moms and all three grandkids! What a shot!

Nana and Grandad along for a boat ride.

Bristol loves her ice cream. Doesn't get much better than Ice Cream Alley! We love it there! HUGE scoops for not much! Bristol's favorite is "pink" ice cream. The mixture of pink ice cream and hot weather made quite a mess!
Bristol's first tube ride!
"Faster Grandpa!"
Home made ice cream...mmmmm!

Uncle Grant brought home the BEST hammocks from his mission in Brazil. We had too much fun being lazy in them together!

Moves from the Past

TyRell and I have been married since December of '06. That makes 4 1/2 years. Wanna know how many times we have moved?

NINE!

Our move on Tuesday will make TEN.

Here is our rundown. (I know, boring. But hey, I don't want to forget!)

January 2007: we had our first apartment in Logan.
It was teeny, but quaint. Really close to campus. We were both in school!
May 2007: we moved to Valejo, CA.
Ty sold for Stone Security and I worked in the office. We went to baseball games, checked out San Francisco, and stayed safe luckily! This is where we found the name "Bristol" for a future daughter!
August 2007: moved back to a different apartment in Logan.
For some reason this year is a blur. Seriously! We were both still in school...
May 2008: moved to Riverside, CA.
We visited Ty's mission in Mexico, and Ty sold for Stone Alarm. This is where we found out Bristol was on her way!
August 2008: moved back to Logan
I continued with my last semester of school, student teaching. It was hard being pregnant, but I graduated in December. Ty...still in school! And our little Bris was born! What a joy!
May 2009: moved to San Jose, CA
Little Bris became quite the traveler. Another summer in Cali! Having family close by made it a bit better!
August 2009: moved back to Logan
TyRell graduated with his bachelors, we went on a great cruise, and we prepped for the masters program coming up.
May 2010: moved to Nanaimo, B.C., Canada
Now Bris was really the world traveler. Ty sold for APX, and I played with Bris! This is where we found out Tytan was on his way!
July 2010: moved to the Victoria, Canada
Our office was a traveling office...so after living in a hotel for a while, we finally made it to Victoria. Whenever I think of this place I get sick. Literally. I was so sick while we lived there...maybe one day I'll get over that! Thanks Big T.
August 2010: moved back to Logan
Ty graduated with his Masters in Accounting, and Big T. joined us here!
August 2011: move to Boise, Id.

We will miss you Logan. You have been great to us!

RunP

Last year I read "The Help" by Katheryn Stockett. Loved the book! Last night I went to the movie with a few girlfriends. It was so great! A movie is at it's best when it makes you laugh, cry, and hurt in two hours! This hit the spot. I loved it! You have to go see it. To make the evening even better was how it all started!
We were in line deciding what treats to get. I made a joke about how if i got the BIG drink that I would have to pee half way through the movie. Well, the poor kid behind the counter said, "This might sound awkward, but did you know that there is an app that lets you know when there is a slow spot in the movie so you can...RUN P!" I started laughing so hard! I don't have a smart phone, so this may be late news to some of you, but it's not to me! Hahahaha!

And now back to packing. YIKES!

Edumicated and Gradiated...almost

TyRell has his last day of school EVER tomorrow. I know that he is excited, but I think that my excitement is right up there with his. He has worked so hard and sacrificed so much to finish school. We are sure ready to move onto the next chapter in life. I am proud of him! I have felt truly blessed. Every summer for the last 5 years he has worked selling alarm systems far away from home. He has missed out on his beloved backpacking and fishing trips all to make money. However, this money has provided a wonderful lifestyle for us throughout the school year where he doesn't have to worry about work and is able to take a full load of classes. Truly blessed. If I could think of good enough words to brag about him more I would...but they don't exist! As for graduation presents you ask? Ha, don't have one yet. I know what I'm getting for him, but maybe a picture of it will have to do. You can't buy them here in Logan...you will just have to wait and see! But we are having a good little celebration this weekend by going camping. The Steven's side is having a family reunion and we are headed there right after class tomorrow! Can't wait!

Growing Up

This Friday TyRell "graduates" with his MAcc from USU. Time has gone by so incredibly fast! It doesn't seem like that long ago my parents were driving me down here to Logan from Boise for my Freshman year of college. That was SEVEN YEARS ago! It honestly feels like yesterday. I sat behind my dad and cried the whole way there. I sucked it up while I met my roommates and said my good byes, but then cried again all night knowing that I had left my home.

Now, seven years, one marriage, and two great kids later I'm fighting the tears and emotions as we look for a home in the Boise area. TyRell was offered and accepted a job in Eagle, Id. and begins August 29th. We are so incredibly grateful and excited to have work and be able to finally settle down somewhere! I am excited to be near my family and have Bristol's and Tytan's cousins close by. At the same time I am so sad to be leaving Logan. Logan has become my home. I have GREAT friends here, and have created so many memories in this area. It will always hold a special place in my heart. Logan has been very generous and i will be forever grateful for my experiences here. i am also so thankful for the many opportunities that lay ahead!

We aren't sure when we are moving, or where to exactly yet. But it is coming shortly! Wish us luck as we house hunt, and please leave any advice if you have any!

WILDE Family Reunion

The Wilde family reunion was held in Oakley, Ut at Grandma and Grandpa Wilde's home. It is beautiful there. Bristol rode a REAL pony. Yes, I said REAL pony. A while back Ty and I brought my sister Ashley to Oakley. As we were entering the valley there is a very large red barn. It's not your typical barn, but more like a "Hollywood" barn that you would see in the movies. Ashley saw it and exclaimed "Look, a REAL barn." Ty and I just laughed. Well, you might laugh at me, but I always thought that a pony was just another name for a baby horse. When I'm wrong I'll admit it, and boy was I wrong. This is a REAL pony. ;)
I'm so proud of Bristol for riding it too! I have always said that I believe horses to be one of God's most beautiful creatures, and I'm pretty afraid of them. Ty's cousins have it out to change my mind, but until then Bristol is braver than I am.

I didn't get a picture, but Ty's Mom, Aunt, and cousin all twirled the baton and brought them to the reunion. It brought back some great memories of my twirling days. I had so much fun twirling when I was younger, and it was great to try and do it again!

F.R.I.E.N.D.S.

We have some great friends here in Logan. Bristol has some pretty cute buddies.First, her little bro "Big T." Aren't they cute? I think so.

Meet Brock. I caught them like this after they had been swimming at the aquatic center. Too funny.

4th of July...a Titch Behind

The 4th of July this year was great! Most traditions I LOVE. Parades, rodeos, fireworks, BBQs, however one this year was quite different than the rest. It'll take some getting used to. At 5AM in Oakley, Ut a cannon is fired every 10 or so minutes down the streets of town for about an hour. 5AM! However, the rest of the day was great. It all started with a fun parade!

Followed by some good ol' rodeo'in. The Oakley rodeo was a BLAST. I've only ever been to a few, and this one was great. World class cowboys, "Princesses" as Bristol called the rodeo queens, and some great bull riding.
Paying respect

It almost felt like date night. Having the kid's grandparent's around is great! They love to hold the kids which sure frees us up!
A painting of Grandpa Wilde on one of the walls at the Oakley Rodeo Grounds. Leon Wilde is TyRell's Grandpa on his Mom's side.

BEAR LAKE

A couple of weekends ago we packed up and drove to Bear Lake. We just relaxed and had a good time in the sun! Getting ready to go was quite funny. Bristol wanted to be "packed " so I threw in the trunk. Next thing I knew she wanted her princess helmet on. I couldn't resist taking a picture!

We had a great time! You can't go to Bear Lake without getting a Raspberry Shake, which we did! Both of the kids slept the whole way home, I think that they had a great time!

Tim McGraw

A bit ago in Boise, Hailey, Chrissy, Kate, and I enjoyed an AMAZING concert! My Dad and Annie weren't able to go, so Kate and I got their tickets. Can you spell L.U.C.K.Y.? It was so much fun. I always tell myself, "Why would I buy tickets to go to a concert when I can just listen to their CD?" Well let me remind all of you...it is SO MUCH BETTER LIVE! Seriously, if you are ever contemplating, just get the tickets. We had a blast. Our seats were wicked close to the stage. Literally perfect!
The Band Perry opened first. They are sooooo good. Very entertaining, and totally better than the radio or CD. That doesn't happen very often, but they were great!
Chrissy, Hailey, Me, Kate. Kate looks so cute pregnant, and she was a trooper considering we pretty much stood for the whole concert! I think that the ice cream before and the roasted peanuts during helped a little!
Luke Bryan. 'Nuff said! He is cute! Very entertaining and a great voice!
And now for the hunk of meat himself. WOW! He is so great! A very real, and down to earth performer. He is so good, no wonder he has won so many awards. He came out on a stage that we didn't even know was there and ended up being a lot closer to us than we thought he would be. I was shaking with excitement! There is nothing like Tim McGraw live!

GRAND CANYON

I know you are jealous. As am I. However, these pictures are beautiful! I made TyRell promise to take a ton of pictures, and now I have a full file folder of them! These are only a few. I can't believe I missed it...one day.
TyRell and my cousin Dan hiked 7 miles down the canyon to meet up with the rest of the crew who had already been on the river for a few days. The hike was supposed to take about 4 hours, but it ended up only take about an hour. The poor guys got up sooooo early so as not to hike in the heat. It sure worked! Hence the jackets!
I loved these pictures! This water flowed into the the Colorado, and is so beautifully blue! I guess it was quite a bit warmer than the river, so they had quite a fun time swimming in it.
TyRell, Chrissy, and Dad!

Sunshine and Summer Time

Wow it's been getting hot around here! FINALLY! Logan is beautiful in the Summer. I have lived here for six years, and have never had a summer here. So, it's about time right? We are loving it!
Big T is content as long as he has something to put in his mouth. He had his 4 month check up today! 19 lbs and 27 1/2 inches. Amazing! He is grabbing things put in front of him, and can roll from his back to his side, almost to his tummy. That thumb usually in his mouth gets in the way!
My Mr. bought Bristol a princess wading pool. She loves it! She is completely obsessed with princesses lately. Her flavor of the week...Arial. She calls us all princesses, even Dad. Ha! It is great!

LATELY

So, you may be wondering what we have been up to lately! Well, here we are in all of our glory. Tytan has been growing like a little weed. We call him "Big T" still, it fits. Bristol is enjoying any warm weather she can get, and her vocabulary has blossomed. It is amazing how much she learns in one day!

TyRell got pretty sick of Tytan's BSU hat (thanks to Jeffrey) and so he got him a USU hat. I love it. He looks good in Aggie Blue! We got a big laugh out of Bristol holding him the other day. He is only about 7 lbs. lighter than she is. They are quite the pair!

He is a hunk!

Bristol loves swimming at Nana and Grandpa's. This last week while Ty was gone, she got quite a bit of swimming in. The pool was really warm, but this evening the wind was whipping up. So, she announced that she was cold. She ran and got her blankie, which can't feel complete without her bink, and proceeded to cover herself in the pool. I just laughed. She sat there for a good little while in the water! She is becoming quite the little fish! Don't get water in her ears though, she doesn't like it.

Note the little yellow flower in the background? My Mom's poor garden suffered some picking. She loves "fowlers."

My "Big T" in his Aggie Blue. He is such a handsome little man. We love him to pieces. Don't forget the camo!
